Currently under construction, the Nicklaus Heritage Course at Jack's Bay will be the first ever course of its type from Nicklaus Design, and Doug's third course built for the Nicklaus team.

The Nicklaus Heritage Course has five holes directly on the water, and another five holes with ocean views. The terrain of South Eleuthera, and especially of Jack's Bay, is varied and lush. With elevations of up to 90 feet, limestone cliffs and pink sands, it is unique even within the Bahamas.

At Jack's Bay, Doug is not only the contractor responsible for the construction of the Tiger Woods and Jack Nicklaus Golf Courses, he is also a shareholder, a board member and the Director of Development and Construction.

Jack's Bay already had a ten-hole Tiger Woods Playground Course that Doug had built. With the launch of the first ever Heritage Course by Nicklaus, Jack's Bay will become the only private property in the world with both a Nicklaus and Tiger course. Along with top-tier amenities for members and residents, it will become the most sought after destination for golfers from around the world.

/ What I loved about building this course

More than for most courses I've built, Jack's Bay was a project where my vision led the path toward completion. I connected the Jack's Bay team with the Nicklaus team, and have been dedicated to seeing the vision through for the past ten years. It will be my great masterpiece when completed, and represents a culmination of all of the years spent building skills and relationships.
